Cambria is a tiny village on the coast of Central California midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. A bit off the beaten path on a single lane stretch of Highway One, you’ll see the sign for Cambria. As you drive down the winding road that leads you into town and onto Main Street, you might notice there are no chain stores or franchises, no major grocery stores and the not-so-usual assortment of artist-owned shops and owner-operated restaurants. Main street starts in the East Village meanders to the West Village and ends at the Pacific Ocean. It only takes a moment to realize you have found a little bit of paradise. Clean air, mild coastal temperatures, and the natural beauty of pristine beaches and rugged coastline ringed by pine forests and mountains. The night stars are phenomenal and the peace and quiet is rejuvenating, making this hidden gem all the more spectacular. The locals are friendly and there is everything from surfing and hiking to wine tasting and antique shops.
