Along scenic Highway One on the Central California coast, midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles and only 30 miles from San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, lies the village of Cambria.  From the quaint East Village, across town to the Pacific Ocean, Main Street is free of the usual chain stores and franchises.  Instead, an assortment of unique artist-owned shops and owner-operated restaurants await discovery.  Clean air, mild temperatures, and a rugged coastline of pristine beaches ringed by pine forests and mountains define this hidden gem called Cambria -- truly, a little bit of paradise.

Visit all of wine coast country while staying in Cambria.  Friendly locals will agree that Cambria is the perfect base from which to explore the area’s many attractions, from surfing and hiking, to wine tasting and antique shops. Hearst Castle is just 6 miles north, not far from our thriving colony of elephant seals (be sure to keep an eye out for the zebras grazing in pastures near the highway).  Cambria is also home to world famous Nit Witt Ridge and the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, with its 400 acres of hiking trails.

Cambria is an oasis for the traveler longing for a simpler way of life and a truly relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. For more details on events and happenings in Cambria, please visit  http://cambriaca.org

Victoria’s Secrets....Blog/Blog.htmlBlog/Blog.htmlshapeimage_6_link_0

A little bit about Victoria’s Last Resort in Cambria.   Victoria is the artist behind every element of this unique retreat as well as the hands on owner/chef. Her extended solo trip to Europe landed her at a B&B on the coast of England, called Fingals, where  discovered that this was a perfect fit for her jack-of-all-trades style. She has a background in business and fashion merchandising and design. Victoria tried many different career options before finding her perfect niche! The years she spent as a pastry chef are a perfect segue into an innkeeper and her fashion background helped when it came to design and aesthetics. She created a place that is more like stepping into an art piece than a normal hotel. The general vibe of relaxation and whimsy make every guest feel right at home and comfortable. The fact that there is only one suite gives this an even more special appeal. No neighbors, no one else to infringe on your special time. You might find yourself spending more time in your suite than you normally would because it is just that inviting!  The stereo is full of great selections, there are movies and CDs and a private entrance, parking, and personal hot tub overlooking the garden. It is redefining Bed and Breakfast by introducing Bed and Brunch! Sleep in, have your meals when you are ready with no time constraints and no rules.  Try something a little different and out-of-the-box...Victoria’s Last Resort is all this and more!
